I remember in the UK a wonderful B&W show on childrens TV in the 60s/early 70's called Casey Jones, do you ?
It was about the famous train engineer who rode his train to the death after it ran away and saved the day, but they had a TV series about it. Wish I could find some more info on it, the theme tune is still in my head, I am sure the acting was awful, but I cant find any reference to it. Am I imagining it ?
Absolutely not. You are NOT imagining it. I watched it when I was a little girl. Casey Jones was played by the same actor who played the Skipper in Gilligan's Island. IIRC, his name was Alan Hale.
